Karan Sondhi is Chief Technology Officer for Public Sector at Trellix. In this position, Karan plays an important role in building and sustaining executive customer relationships across the Public Sector. As a consultative thought leader, Karan partners with customers to craft a transformation strategy that aligns with the customer’s business objectives and Trellix offerings.
Karan’s extensive experience owning and operating large IT modernization projects and building security environments is essential to assisting our Public Sector customers. Karan has over two decades of experience in the DoD and Intelligence Community. His most recent experience was serving as Chief Technology Officer for Microsoft’s $10 Billion JEDI contract with the DoD. Prior to Microsoft, Karan spent 12 years leading innovation efforts in the Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, Cyber Security and Automated Machine Learning space at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
In 2014 Karan was awarded a Meritorious Unit Citation from the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) for his leadership and innovations in Cyber Security Engineering at CIA. Karan holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from George Mason University and several industry certifications in Cyber Security, Product Management, and Cloud Engineering.
