Joe Chen
Chief Technology Officer
Joe Chen is the Chief Technology Officer at Trellix, where he will lead engineering operations and partner with the CPO to expand our technology strategy.
Joe is a seasoned cybersecurity leader, with more than 25 years of experience in streamlining operations and driving innovation at top cybersecurity companies. He’s served as the Operating Partner at Crosspoint Capital Partners since 2024. Before that, Joe was the Vice President of Engineering at Symantec, Broadcom, and Carbon Black, leading global teams and directing advanced machine learning projects on threat detection, network security, and endpoint protection. Joe serves on the Cyber Threat Alliance as a board member and has been awarded more than 55 U.S. patents. He has authored blogs, served as a panelist for various industry events, and is committed to supporting global standards in cybersecurity collaboration.
Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
