Senior Offensive Security Researcher

John is a Senior Offensive Security Researcher with the Trellix Advanced Research Center. He assists in leading our Red Team where he focuses on penetration testing, systems engineering and ensuring Trellix is equipped to outpace bad actors. Prior to Trellix, John worked for Mandiant and Long Island Computer Networks in penetration testing and security consulting. He brings more than 10 years of experience with the U.S. Air Force to Trellix as well, having previously served as a subject matter expert in education, training and cyber warfare threat emulation to strategic commands. When not at work, he is neck-deep in his servers at home testing new technology stacks, artificial intelligence, exploit development and hunting the latest APT techniques.
