Bill Thorn is a seasoned cybersecurity executive and strategist with 20+ years of experience helping organizations reduce enterprise risk, strengthen resilience, and align security programs to mission-critical outcomes. In his role at Trellix, he advises global leaders across public sector and healthcare on cyber defense, digital transformation, AI security and safety, Zero Trust adoption, and critical infrastructure protection. He has led large-scale security operations and architecture functions for a multi-billion-dollar enterprise, guided modernization efforts that measurably reduced risk and response times, and earlier led complex investigations resulting in criminal prosecutions while also serving as a court-qualified expert witness in the U.S. and Canada. Bill holds an MS in Cybersecurity Risk & Strategy from NYU Law, executive certificates from Wharton and NYU Tandon, and multiple certifications including CISSP, CDPSE, and Certified Forensic Examiner, with a focus on using cybersecurity to drive trust, agility, and innovation.
