David Soto
Chief Information Security Officer
David Soto is the Chief Information Security Officer of Trellix, responsible for leading the company's enterprise security program and advancing its resilience transformation. Soto brings more than 25 years of cybersecurity leadership across regulated industries, with a track record of building programs that embed security into the fabric of the business from the start. Most recently, he served as Head of Infrastructure Security at Amazon, where he grew a resilient global security program spanning roughly 4,000 sites across 30 countries and more than three million assets for the company's Worldwide Operations and Grocery businesses.
Prior to Amazon, David served as Executive Director at Check Point, Executive Director in Optiv's Office of the CISO, Divisional Information Security Officer at Pacific Life, in addition to beginning his career as a systems and network engineer in the U.S. Air Force.
David has sat on the board of the Orange County CISO Roundtable since 2017.
