Trellix and Macquarie Government Partner to Strengthen Email and Network Security Across Australian Government

Multi-year agreement simplifies adoption of leading cybersecurity solutions

SYDNEY – October 21, 2025 – Trellix, the company delivering the future of AI-powered cybersecurity, today announced a multi-year agreement with Macquarie Government, a leading provider of secure cloud and cybersecurity services, to provide Trellix solutions to the Australian federal, state, and broader public sector. The partnership strengthens cybersecurity resilience across key Australian federal, state, and public sector agencies by simplifying the deployment of Trellix’s email and network technologies, underscoring Trellix’s leadership in meeting Australian security and data sovereignty regulatory requirements.

Now, government agencies in Australia can more easily adopt and deploy Trellix technologies.

• Trellix Email Security: Trellix Email Security provides multi-layered defence powered by cutting-edge AI to empower organisations to stop phishing and impersonation, accelerate investigation and response, and prevent data leaks and exfiltration via email.
• Trellix IVX: Working in tandem with Trellix Email Security and capable of integration across the enterprise, Trellix IVX performs deep inspection on any file entering, being transferred, or stored in enterprise applications and file shares.
• Trellix Network Security: Trellix Network Security delivered by Macquarie Government enables federal agencies to identify attacks that evade common defences, detect suspicious lateral movements, cover expanding attack surface across various operating systems and more than 160 file types, and map threats to the MITREATT&CK Framework to ease containment and remediation.
• Trellix Network Forensics: Australian federal agencies can now easily adopt TrellixNetwork Forensics (PX), allowing organisations to capture data packets for forensics analysis to identify network security threats.

Earlier this year, Trellix Email Security completed the necessary assessment at the Protected Level through the Infosec Registered Assessors Program (IRAP). The assessment is conducted against the rigorous compliance and cybersecurity requirements set forth by IRAP, and makes it easier for government agencies to procure the technology. Building on this initiative with supplier relationships like Macquarie emphasises Trellix’s commitment to leading the industry in providing best-of-class security to the public sector and regulated industries globally.
